Description (last modified by )
Adaptec Firewire PCI card (AFW-4300A LP UNIV HOST ADAPTER, 1973600 REV: A 0239, w/Texas Instruments chipset) had to be removed to get audio out of SBLive (supported by Haiku). The Firewire card was recognized by Haiku and Media Preferences seemed just fine, but there was NO sound from the SBLive at all.

Nothing to be done without further information.

Could you please provide a syslog ? Maybe the same IRQ is used for both cards and one driver or the other doesn't handle the case correctly.
