haiku alpha2 won't boot on acer extensa 5620

Description

the same as the alpha1 it stops at the (3) plug-in icon no matter what safe option i choose,wether i boot from the cd or a usb stick. but i can't even get you a syslog,so this might be a useless report!

i'm happy to announce that since rev:37017 the acer extensa 5620 boots and many things work,but i have to give it little more testing,so folks thanks alot for all the work you're doing,and i have already noticed that this laptop does not restart nor does it shutdown.after quitting the servers it says "asking for other processes to quit" and it stays like that til i press the power button. should i file another report for this, if you need more info let me know.

I believe there's already an open ticket for the latter problem, though I unfortunately can't recall which number offhand.

well,for some reason the system shuts down properly now.but still can not restart it. i'm gonna search a report on this otherwise i'll file a new one.
