It is now on par with similar offerings on other systems, actually in several ways the sound quality is better but that has alot to do with alot of mediaplayers using back end compression.

Mediaplayer is a big deal for Haiku to be sucessful, the only thing left IIRC is file types.

You could glitz up the skin a bit to :-)

Thanks for the encouragement. You can better use the development or general Haiku mailing list for this type of feedback. Since the ticket does not include an actual enhancement request, I am closing as invalid.

This is a system for tracking issues and bug-reports. With everything that isn't relevant it adds more irrelevant info to wade thru to get to the real issues, kind of like spam hiding your important emails. A lot of devs actually get an email for every comment and every issue, so everytime you post irrelevant stuff, the devs gets a little less interested in keeping tracks of the emails, because it's not useful info. You actually add more work to the devs by doing stuff like this. Please don't do that if you want the devs to work efficiently. Use informal channels instead, IRC is a very good candidate.

Imagine if everyone would start doing things like this...
