Description
KDL... Thread 12 "main2" running on CPU 0 the rese of the stack trace is in the attached graphic.
I've got windows 7 64-bit with windows Virtual PC (the one with XP mode). I downloaded an .iso on October 15, 2010 and tried to boot from the .iso file. I burned the .iso to a CD and could boot a physical machine OK. I get the same errors trying to boot the WinVPC system from the physical CD as with trying to boot from the .iso.
thanks!

What version of Haiku is this; is it the R1/Alpha2 from May this year or a newer nightly build?

perhaps I misunderstood the meaning of platform = x86-64? But yes, the Haiku I downloaded was the R1/Alpha2 from May, 2010. thanks!

Ok, thanks, just making sure. If you feel like testing a nightly build, you can find them at http://haiku-files.org, with a bit of luck your problem may already be fixed. And yeah, there is not yet any Haiku version for the x86-64 platform, just plain x86 (32-bit).

no luck that route, either. I'm gonna build up a physical machine, then image it & try to restore the image to the VM.

Can you recheck this with a recent Haiku build? It may have been fixed recently.
