The author responded that he will probably try to update the driver but didn't promise anything, it was more like, I guess it's up to me.
I'll be glad of course since I'm not sure to pay 200 euro for the Echo Indigo I/O which doesn't even have midi i/o : (

Maybe he could give could give code to our developers, so they could fix it, or even add to haiku?

Paul, check the SVN Browser URL above - all is on the place. All is under control - you'll be first in the tester's queue, anyway :-)

Click on _view_ or _download_ links to see real contents of file. It is also possible to see the differences between revisions - let's play with this form. :-)

Can the original submitter test new ali5451 driver perhaps? It's been added to svn in hrev34452. I can provide binary for r1alpha1 if there's such a need.

Thanks to new ali5451 multi-audio driver from Krzysiek Ćwiertnia (#5066) your hardware is now supported and this ticket can be closed. Please confirm the work with revisions after hrev34452. Feel free to reopen it in case the problem still persist. Thank you!

and ... AFAIK Haiku doesn't support the old audio API.
