Description
Pulkomandy has synchronized catkeys resources from the HTA repository to Haiku in hrev39360,but there are still strings out of sync.
For instance in HTA-"Traker Kit" (french version), I updated KiB, MiB, GiB strings from KiO, MiO, GiO to Kio, Mio and Gio (no uppercase 'o'), but these strings are not up to date in haiku/trunk/data/catalogs/kits/tracker/fr.catkeys

All Pie charts not syncronized with translations
comment:3 by , 14 years ago
As the attached pie charts picture for the Finnish translation shows, two translations are not ready according to pie charts, but I have translated all the texts. Could it be the same synchronization problem in hta?

Yes, there was some problems with finnish too, and there may be something else inside hta I don't even know about, since some belarus files ended up on svn whereas they were not validated.

I'm going to close this ticket as HTA doesn't sync catkeys since we switched to git.
I know, it's because of various bugs in hta.
Some catalogs have a wrong fingerprint (or checksum), which means they can't be linked. I don't put these on the subversion. Affected are tracker, diskprobe, and diskusage for french. tv app is also a problem for some other languages.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to hta code, so I can't fix it.
A temporary workaround is to fix the fingerprint by hand, but I'm not willing to do that each time there is a translation change, it's too much work.
Hopefully, the new hta, powered by Pootle, will be working better and automatcally sync the catalogs. I'll do my best to get all the data from the current incarnation of hta out, but only when we switch it off for good, or for the next alpha release, wichever comes first. Unless someone else fixes the fingerprint by hand.
