Try this:

  1. Mount 2 copy of the image of Haiku.
  2. Boot from one.
  3. Delete everything of the other (with Tracker or rm)
  4. Check the free space.

Yeah, and if I'm adventurous, I'd also go rafting in between ;) Could you please tell: a) what happens exactly, b) and what revision you've tested with?

Please, that kind of information always belongs into a bug report.

a) Free space is not updated, and you cant write any file if you dont have "free" space. b) Rev 17912
