cURL update has broken HTTPS support?

Description
On a fresh build of hrev40697, trying to log into Trac here with WebPositive gives an "unsupported protocol" error. Trying to open www.googlemail.com as well. I suspect the recent update of cURL as caused this. I am not a great fan of updating stuff that has worked fine, and when these hickups happen which only cause frustration and loss of time it doesn't make me like them more... :-) I thought the use of haikuporter would reliably reproduce builds and features of any given package?

Sorry for logging duplicate bugs, in my defense I did search Trac for "protocol not supported" before logging this one.
