Description

This is hrev41168, gcc4hybrid.

Every once in a while the synaptics driver panics on bootup since Clemens work from about hrev41124. Attached is a photo of the kdl and backtrace. Syslog doesn't show suspicious entries.

Could you please check if hrev41189 fixes it? When you into, it could you also check if after hrev41190 the tap drag and edge motion is working correctly? (tap drag to the edge of the touchpad, the mouse should move further when you reached the edge.) thanks!

I upgraded to hrev41193 and have rebooted the system a couple of times since then. It didn't crash yet, but as I said, those KDLs where only very sporadic... I can reopen this ticket if I see it again.
The tap-dragging works OK. Its speed is determined by the Mouse speed setting, right? Maybe my setting is a bit slow for others, but when dragging is done automagically when at the pad's edge, the speed feels a bit slow. Could the auto-dragging use the mouse setting + maybe 20%?

I'd say this ticket can be closed. Haven't had a KDL on bootup since. Thanks!
