Description
When installing (or upgrading) r1a3 from a CD and choosing another language than English, the default keymap is set to Custom. When installed or upgraded, the Haiku keymap will be US-International.
What is Custom supposed to do? The user will probably think that Custom means the keymap for the language, or when upgrading, the same as before the upgrade.
If I remember, the keymap was defaulted to English before the latest redesign of ReadOnlyBootPrompt. That was better because then the users sees that it will be English, and could choose to change to something else.
ReadOnlyBootPromt in default (untouched) mode
ReadOnlyBootPrompt when the language is changed to Swedish and keymap is not touched. If installed this way, keymap will be US-international

Replying to axeld:
Will have a look if I can reproduce the issue.
I was able to reproduce this by simply booting the Haiku CD. Tested on an IBM T41 and in VirtualBox running on Mac OS X.

R1 Alpha 3 has not yet been released. This was with an R1 Alpha 3 Release Candidate image.

Modifying ticket to reflect the renaming of ReadOnlyBootPrompt to FirstBootPrompt.
That doesn't look correct indeed. The "Custom" should mean that you are using a non-standard customized keymap, ie. none that you can just choose there.
Will have a look if I can reproduce the issue.
