wifi no longer connecting after upgrading from r41945 to r 42061

Description
Having done the upgrade, the network status deskbar preflet now shows "/dev/net/atheroswifi/0: link" for my wifi interface and does not show my wired interface at all. Currently I'm running a live session of hrev41945 off a usb flash drive and it shows "/dev/net/atheroswifi/0: Ready" and "/dev/net/rtl81xx/0: No link". I have both before and after syslogs but, I'm only attaching the after one. If anyone wants to see the before one, just say the word.

Would it make a difference if I said I also get this issue running a "live" session off a usb flash drive for hrev42061?

I'm taking the liberty of moving this one to milestone alpha3. If it's legit, who knows what else might have broken. That said, my untrained eye hasn't been able to spot a suspect yet except maybe for hrev41983. Perhaps it's build/BOM related, or something else entirely.

Installed hrev42095 and the issue seems to have been resolved. There is some network stuff in there. Now I get "/dev/net/atheroswifi/0: Configuring" immediately after boot up where I was getting "No link" before and there is information for the wired interface where there was none before. I will have to visit my local open access point to verify that the link actually works. As soon as I've done that we can close this.

I'm posting this comment using haiku hrev42095 on a wireless network. This ticket can be closed.

seems to be ok now, so closing.
Hm, this always sets off an alarm bell with me, as there is no supported upgrade procedure - attempts to upgrade by installing a new version on top of an existing one may or may not work. Just to be safe here, could you possibly check with a clean install?
