Please recheck this using the wqy-microhei font as listed about. If that doesn't cover the language let us know. Try out the Nanumfont package I put together and see if that one works out any better, and let us know the results. http://ports-space.haiku-files.org/media-fonts/nanumfont-2.0-x86-gcc2-2011-08-08.zip <-extract this to /boot

Checking the result with different fonts might make a good GCI task maybe ? (providing screenshots of a textfile in haiku with them, and the same textfile with each of the fonts)

I've added nanumfont in hrev44635, along with droid fonts which I thought I had added a long time ago. These can be added using installoptionalpackage

wqy_microhei has Hangeul support. More fonts are welcome but this needs to be reported at haikuports.org as they would be shared as packages now.
Have you tried installing the wqy-microhei font? It's supposed to have Korean fonts, but not sure how well it's covered. Open terminal and then install it using:
I have put together a package for the Nanumfont here: http://ports-space.haiku-files.org/media-fonts extract it to /boot. Please let us know how this works out.
