#8003 closed bug (fixed)

[Installation] "Welcome to Haiku!" dialog disappears when switching workspaces

Reported by: x-ist Owned by: stippi
Priority: normal Milestone: R1
Component: Applications/FirstBootPrompt Version: R1/Development
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

Upon booting an anyboot image the "Welcome to Haiku!" dialog appears. Now, press CTRL+ALT then left or right arrow key to switch to other workspace. You'll never see the dialog again!

Maybe we should disable workspace switching at that time.

Still with us in hrev44584. It hit me again when I tried to shift the VBox Haiku guest to another Ubuntu workspace using the same shortcut Haiku uses.
