Description
I recently purchased a HP mini 110-3731CL netbook. It was pre-installed with Windows 7 starter, which was promptly deleted! I soon noticed there was no internet or sound! The network icon which has a globe, computer, and green dot, had a red dot! I clicked "Open network preferences" and there was no detected adapters.
Also, I had no sound, the volome slider was displayed when the speaker icon was clicked in the deskbar, but no sound. The sound is not as important as the networking, by the way did not work with wifi or ethernet port! No adapter detected.
All this info is vauge and incomplete which is why I am including the sysinfo and syslog output files!

sysinfo isn't generally useful for hardware support tickets, the output of listdev would be helpful though.

0x40800000 is missing from current version of rtl81xx. But good news is that it exists in FreeBSD one.

From a quick glance FreeBSD doesn't support this chipset yet. They are using NDIS WiFi Drivers.
vendor 8086: Intel Corporation device 27d8: N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller
#4755 is tracking support for this chipset.
vendor 8086: Intel Corporation device a011: N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller
One of this tickets is already tracking similar issue.

Since the other pieces of hardware already have related tickets, let's make this one just about the networking side of it.

Assigning to Axel since he last touched that driver.

Fixed in hrev43365 :)
My HP g7 had the same NIC.

I have the exact same wireless chip on my Dell Inspiron Mini 10: RTL8188CE. It's not working in hrev43955 although i installed the wifi drivers.
I forgot to mention I have to enable safe video mode in bootman because the desktop will not display otherwise. Have the same issue with my other laptop. Started back in mid to late September. Not important for this issue.
