Trash icon sometimes doesn't change to full

Occasionally the trash icon will show the empty trash can even though things will be in it. It doesn't always happen. I've tried figuring out in what situations but so far have been unsuccessful I can't seem to reproduce it at will and if you empty it, it will return to the expected behavour. This is on hrev44293.

Sometimes emptying trash, or restoring the only file in the trash folder will not change the icon.

I just saw this as well. Added one file to the trash, the icon stayed as the empty one until I moved the trash icon, then it immediately updated. Of course I may be the one who fixes this, but just figured I'd add my experience.
I now also cannot reproduce it... :(

Are you sure it doesn't change or does it help when you drag some window over the trash to make it redraw?
