Two Finger scrolling not working on Thinkpad T420

Description
The two finger scrolling seems not to work on my Thinkpad T420. When enabled and performing the two finger scrolling the mouse cursor does not move but no scrolling is performed neither in webpositive or tracker. (or anywhere else)

2-Finger scrolling still not working on my T420. The strange thing is, that when I try it, the cursor doesn't move. So the driver must recognice the 2nd finger on the touchpad. But no scrolling happens in the application.

Is the Touchpad configuration shown in Input preferences? Can you attach a syslog?
