Description (last modified by )
motherboard: DFI 855-GME-MGF
http://www.hothardware.com/viewarticle.aspx?articleid=620
graphic: Intel 852 GM/GMV vendor id: 0x8086 device id: 0x3582
mouse: intellimouse explorer on usb port
when the system hangs on startup the mouse pointer crashes (white finger becomes a small black box- you can see the finger a bit behind)
same if i press left mouse button
in the past the driver showed permanently a destroyed mouse pointer (bigger, dominant and not really useable) but now the current driver in haiku hrev19131 is on the right way and i can use it

I am not a developer so I used mouse pointer in a wrong way.
I hope some pictures will explain it better. I will put it into the attachments soon.
watching on startup:
mouse locked -> black box mouse free -> white hand/finger
like a HDD LED light on -> reading light off -> pause
(but ignore it, it was my fault)
watching using haiku:
mouse klick -> black box mouse move or pause -> white hand/finger
in some corners I get a a) mixed box or b) black box or c) it works perfect

I have a i855GM and I don't have this problem in hrev32055, I would like to close this ticket as resolved (don't now what revision) any rejections?

Since the hardware cursor is still unused in Haiku, I would rather fix this as invalid for now.
#917 is not really a bug, and has nothing to do with the intel_extreme driver; I've therefore removed any reference to that bug here.
Are you sure you're using Haiku? Haiku doesn't use the hardware mouse pointer at all currently.
