Description
Here i'd like to suggest some improvements/missing features for soundrecorder.
1: Adding recording time, because SoundRecorder doesn't show recording time while we record an audio file.
2: Adding the ability to choose more audio formats of recorded file. Currently SoundRecorder uses wav file format with pcm_s32le compression and one minute of recording is equal to 20 MiB, the double size of a standard wav file encoded using pcm_s16le compression, but would be nice to choose also other compressed format, like ogg, maybe using ffmpeg addon. (Some years ago, when i was using BeOS, on BeShare i've found an utility which record audio files in Mp3 audio format, for example)
3: When we record a file, this file is automatically saved in /boot/common/cache/temp directory, and when we close SoundRecord, this file is automatically deleted. So would be nice to add an alert when closing SoundRecorder, which asks to us if we want to save the file (like, for example, StyledEdit does.)
