Reported by: HAL Owned by: mmlr
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Drivers/USB Version: R1/Development
Keywords: install panic read block Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

When I try installing Haiku hrev45142 GCC2 hybrid to HD partition it stalls for a few seconds, not writing anything to disk then crashes.

  1. Install from Haiku on usb stick to sata HD partition, using installer.
  2. Install over previous Haiku R1/Alpha 4.

Result: installer pauses a few seconds, not seeming to write anything to the HD then a kdl crash screen comes up.

(0x80171bd7 "Panic: ", 0x8014b3c0 "could not read block %11d: bytesRead: %zd, error: %s ", 0x801c7b00 "vΔ", int32: 7) + 0x53 That is the panic message from a new screen photo. I also uploaded a new back-trace picture because the one from 7 months ago seems to have first part missing.
