Description
... instead of zipping them into another zip file.
This feature would legitimate the "-O-Matic". Currently I always fall into the trap when I test Haiku after some time and wonder, "which one was this for -- zip or unzip?"

+1 to "Archive". Playing around with the rest might also be a good idea.

Link to haikuware broken. Any other source available? Isn't this more an enhancement than a bug?

I'm not sure that changing the behaviour depending on the filetype the add-on is invoked on is a good idea. Maybe a user has a need to bundle a few zips together, who knows...
Besides, double-clicking to expand seems to be much more straight forward.
I do agree, that Zip-O-Matic should be renamed. I know, I know... BeOS nostalgia, nerddom, geekfactor... :)
Renaming to "Archive" is unambiguous and is additionally more general to allow e.g. to add a small GUI in the future. It could offer an option to choose what archiver to use (zip, rar, xz, bzip...), archive name and maybe also where to save the resulting archive (maybe via d&d of an icon?).
