The next new content, published on 2012-12-10 19:50 simply has the /node/xxxx url ​http://www.haiku-os.org/node/4983

To note, this affects all content types -- forum topics, blogs, news articles.

Sounds like something got broken with Pathauto.

It seems like a version for Drupal 7.x is installed. I don't quite know what happened there. I will revert to a 6.x version.

Restored the 6.x version of pathauto. It now works again for new nodes. Old nodes will require a manual update before the nice path is back.
