Description
I made sure my Gmail settings were set to allow POP since forever and IMAP access too, but I can't get either method downloading any mail on Haiku hrev45453 gcc4hybrid. I tried the default settings, and also putting the port number :993 for IMAP and :995 for POP after the server address. Oddly, I was able to send mail no problem, with or without :465 added to the server address.

Could this be resolved, maybe, with an updated version of cURL? i noticed several fixes and additions related to IMAP this year (http://curl.haxx.se/changes.html#7_32_0).

Haiku never used cURL for IMAP, only for WebPositive. I'm currently in the process of reworking IMAP here: https://github.com/axeld/haiku/tree/imap
