Maybe this is not the best place for this, but I think if a new translation added to Haiku, than we need to follow these steps:

  • create new language at Pootle
  • create new user guide documentation
  • create new default entry in the wiki
  • create new mail list
  • send a mail to the users about the above links, access, the main translator person

And I think all of these links need to be in one place, like at the

Why this "idea"?: There are much more translation on Pootle than on the user guide, and on the wiki page. I think some translators do not known about the other "tools". It would be fine if all documentation, interface translation, etc. would be available in all languages.

The site has no index page now. It can be contain all of the translation related links and how-to (for example: how to create new translation for a new language).

And I think it would be useful if the registered users can see all of the translator's username and email for the languages. For example I have no idea who has translated the Hungarian language at Pootle.
