Description
Since CDPlayer functionality has been merged into MediaPlayer, it would be useful to have an eject button for optical media. Currently, the option to eject a disk upon unmounting is broken (ticket #2630).

Yes. Close closes the window. If you have only one window open, it is the same as quit. If you have multiple player windows open, Close obviously closes only the one window where you invoked it.

Tried it with multiple videos and now it is clear what the distinction is. Thanks for the clarification.

So, in case a track is played from an optical disk, the stop button could turn into an eject button when playback is stopped. Clicked, it ejects the disc.

Currently, MediaPlayer has both a "close" and a "quit" selection in the drop down menu. From what I can tell, they do exactly the same thing - close the application. Is there a reason for having both?
