#12010 new bug

Haiku installer won't recognize hard drives

Reported by: Carl_Miller Owned by: nobody
Priority: normal Milestone: Unscheduled
Component: Drivers/Disk Version: R1/Development
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

When trying to install Haiku, it won't recognize my hard drives with AHCI mode enabled, and the installer kicks me out to KDL (and a nonfunctioning USB keyboard) with native IDE mode enabled. Once installed (to a flash drive), however, it recognizes the hard drives just fine in native IDE mode.

AHCI was reworked recently. Is this still an issue?
