Description
Background: observed with a music CD Background: hrev53924 Severity: 2/4 [Functionality] is affected
Steps to reproduce:
- Insert a CD
- Open MediaPlayer
- Click the MediaPlayer menu, then Settings, or press Alt-S on the keyboard.
- Where it says resume, click never (although ask every time will ask, your choice will still be ignored)
- Play a file from the CD
- Exit the application, while the file is playing.
- Notice how the playback still resumes.

I think there is a misunderstanding of what the "resume" field is doing. What it does is remember the time position in the file, and resume from there, instead of playing the file from the start.
I think there is no way to have MediaPlayer not remember which file was playing. However you can uncheck "start playing automatically" but I'm not sure if that's only on startup.
In any case we should see at least about improving the option labels.
