This ticket is very vague. At least attach your syslog and mention haiku revision.

Please always attach files directly to a corresponding ticket.

Any changes with Beta3?

comment:5 by rjzak, 3 years ago

I've seen this a lot on my System76 laptop, trying to shutdown shows the desktop go away and the shutting down dialog appears, but system never turns off without holding the power button.

Even on Beta 3? If so, could you please attach a syslog?

Still happens, latest build of beta 3. Might be a dup of #17216, #17130

Happens to me intermittently as well on nightlies on Dell Optiplex 780... Haven't yet found a pattern in when/why this sometimes happens.

Replying to bronzie94:

I have an open ticket for this same issue on my Dell Optiplex 780. https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/14205
