Description
I am currently testing Haiku on a PC with two (physical) Xeon processors.
If HyperThreading is activated, when I start Haiku, the system reboots almost instantly. I can not get into the boot menu.
Haiku works fine if I disable HT.

I used a serial cable to get the serial log. Before rebooting, it just prints :
No APM available. smp: using ACPI to detect MP configuration.
(tested with hrev27178)

Sorry, I did not see your message earlier. Yes, it is still restarting right after selecting Haiku in Grub. (i tested with hrev28874)

I made new tests with Haiku hrev31297. The boot process goes further (I can access the boot menu), but it stops before the first icon light up. Haiku still runs fine if HyperThreading is disabled.
Should I open a new bug, or update this one ?

You could add the new syslog. FYI, I am able to boot haiku at least on one hyperthreading-enabled p4.

I just tested again with hrev36250, and Haiku now seems to work fine in both non-HT and HT modes :-)
Closing this bug as fixed.
