#2755 closed bug (fixed)

Copy&Pasting files that exist already

Reported by: humdinger Owned by: leavengood
Priority: normal Milestone: Unscheduled
Component: Applications/Tracker Version: R1/Development
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking: #13197
Has a Patch: no Platform: All

Description (last modified by mmu_man)

This is on vmware, hrev27404.

When you copy a file (ALT+C) and paste (ALT+V) it again into the same directory, nothing happens. Shouldn't Tracker either ask to overwrite or, better IMO, paste the file as "[filename] copy", just like a "duplicate" (ALT+D) would? Bug or enhancement? You decide.

I am still see this error. I am on hrev48487.

Wonder if a fix was implemented unsuccessfully...
