Description
Seems most users would like to have the volume space bar indicators on by default. I guess this was never changed.

I don't think we should enable them by default. They are pretty useless, too.
Most people seem to like them, I don't think they are useless.
Either way I fixed this in hrev32925 by turning them on by default. It is easy to change back, but doesn't really cause any harm by being on.
