The window title of Launchbox pad is "Pad 1" by default. It should be just "Pad", and get renamed to "Pad 1" when a second pad is created.

Fair enough. Closing.

I don't necessarily agree, since naming it "Pad 1" also hints the possibility to creare more than one pad window. I would like to keep it this way. I think the added benefit far outweights any "problem" or "inconvenience" of the single pad being named "Pad 1" instead of just "Pad".
