Description
I get an error when I try to install either from a ISO/CD or the Anyboot (boot downloaded from torrent). The error message is "PANIC: calculated irq routing doesn't match bios for PCI 8:0:0" (see picture file). When I go in linux using lspci, that PCI 08:00:00 is my wireless card which is a atheros base pci express (AR928X. I'm trying to install it on my laptop which is a Toshiba Satellite M300. I tried to put the bios at AHCI and compatible mode, disabled some function (I don't have alot I can do from the bios setting) or configuring a default setup nothing as work so far.

Does typing "es" allows you to boot further? Please include your syslog.

For reference this comes from this source and means that an inferred interrupt routing by going through the parent interrupt pins didn't match the value that was programmed into the device. This could mean that the routing logic is broken. It could also mean that the parent device interrupt line is configured to a different source (the IO-APIC for example) and that this causes the mismatch. Please continue booting (by typing "continue" or, as mentioned above, "es") and then attach a syslog.

Any updates? A syslog is needed as a minimum to get any further on this. Indeed the logic that compares the BIOS configured interrupt line may just be flawed. In the end it is possible that the interrupt lines are indeed different depending on the active routing, so the equivalence doesn't really apply. I may therefore just remove the comparison or at least downgrade it to a warning being printed. A syslog would be appreciated to see if things overall make sense or if something's obviously wrong.

Sorry for the delay. When typing es or continue the initial booting goes on and I'm able to use the installer or the live environment. But after installing it on the hard drive the system just keep rebooting without showing anything on the screen. I deleted and formatted all the drive to be haiku and active but like I said the system just reboot without showing any error on the screen (it stays black).
